The B.o.S. Leg Press Hack Squat Machine gives you two of the most effective lower-body exercises in one compact footprint — no compromises on load capacity, no compromises on build quality.
- 1,000 lb / 454 kg sled capacity at every angle → Leg press, hack squat, calf raise. The number doesn't change depending on how you've got it set up.
- 55 lb / 25 kg empty sled weight → So your warm-up sets are actually warm-up sets — not a struggle just to unrack.
- Linear ball bearings on solid steel shafts → Not bushings, not rollers. The sled moves the same way on rep 1 as it does on rep 500.
- 5 racking positions → Works for lifters from 5'0" up through 6'2" — up to 265 lb / 120 kg. If you've ever had to fight a machine into position, you'll appreciate this.
- Converts in under 60 seconds → Leg press to hack squat (or back again). One customer clocked it at 30 seconds. Your mileage may vary.
Why a Leg Press Hack Squat?
- Quad and glute overload without the spinal load → All the leg-building stimulus of heavy squats, none of the axial compression — great for recovery days or lifters managing back issues.
- Frees up your rack → When the leg press is doing leg work, your power rack is free for supersets, bench, or whatever's next in the program.
- Calf raises are actually possible → Standing calf raises in a home gym usually mean a step and a dumbbell. This machine gives you a loaded, controlled movement with the same 1,000 lb capacity.
- One machine, three movements → Leg press, hack squat, calf raise — in a footprint that won't eat your garage.
- Who it’s for → Built for home gym lifters who want serious lower-body volume without sacrificing space — whether you're a strength athlete adding leg work between squat sessions, managing a back or knee sensitivity, or just ready to move past dumbbells and into real loading.
